Story CorpsIt has been said that America is a nation of stories. One organization is dedicated to collecting those stories, cataloging them and preserving them for future generations.

Since 2003, StoryCorps has collected and archived more than 50,000 interviews with over 90,000 participants. Each conversation is recorded on a CD to share and is preserved at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects of its kind, and millions listen to our weekly broadcasts on NPR’s Morning Edition and on Story Corps’ Listen pages.

You or someone you know’s story may be the inspiration that touches so many more. Here is the chance to have it recorded, documented and curated professionally. For more information: http://storycorps.org/
